I know what it's like to have it all and at the same time feel completely unfulfilled. Instead of settling, I took a risk and followed my heart to leave a toxic marriage and start over again in my career, but it was worth it. Today, I'm living the authentic life I always dreamed of and coaching other women to do the same.
Hi! I'm Danielle Lea
Stress is a natural part of life, but it can be overwhelming and debilitating if not managed properly. Fortunately, there are ways we can tap into our subconscious mind to better manage stress and its effects. In this blog post, we’ll explore three tips for tapping into your subconscious mind and releasing stress. We’ll look at the power of meditation, creative relaxation techniques, and understanding the difference between your subconscious and conscious mind to help you stay calm in stressful moments. By implementing these tools in your daily routine, you can start to achieve greater peace of mind and reduce the amount of stress you experience each day. So let’s get started!
I’m a little obsessed with neuroscience. I absolutely loved learning about neuro-reprogramming early in my career. The simple fact that we only use about 10% of our brain capacity fascinates me! And it’s had me on a quest for years to learn how I can tap into more of this oogly, googly, watery substance that drives human behavior—our consciousness.
Once I saw how easy it is to reprogram the subconscious mind, I began experiencing the most incredible synchronicities in my life. One of the key techniques I use daily is meditation. While it’s a common misconception that meditation is learning how to ‘shut off your brain’ (I mean, it’s one of the few impossibilities in life—you’d be dead…) meditation is a very effective tool for stress relief, and, my favorite, subconscious preprogramming!
Why would you need to reprogram your subconscious? Oh, you know…just for things like becoming a magnet for success and wealth manifestation and love and joy and happiness and all the abundance you can imagine!
You first need to understand that there are 3 main parts to your brain: the conscious brain, the subconscious brain, and the superconscious. We’re not going to focus on the superconscious here, just the conscious and subconscious mind.
Since most of my work is rooted in energy, I also like to align the appropriate energy to your mind.
Think of your conscious mind as the doing, achieving, activating, accomplishing, surviving, and logical mind associated with masculine energy.
Your subconscious mind is aligned with your emotions, feelings, fears, deeply rooted-emotional experiences, and intuition (aligned to your gut and heart) and can be associated with your feminine energy.
Your conscious mind is your current awareness, while your subconscious mind is your very own circuitry connected to the universe’s collective conscious energy.
Your subconscious is bigger, stronger, more powerful, and more “in charge” than one might think. It’s a huge database of all the good and the bad, the extreme emotions from both ends of the spectrum that have been tucked away in an effort to keep you safe, alive, and surviving natural selection.
So let’s reset your nervous system. I share 3 of my favorite techniques in Tip #2.
Stress is simply a physiological reaction to your perceived worries about things that may or may not have yet happened. It’s a change in your nervous system, which connects your brain and other organs in your body.
Hyper-stimulation occurs when our attention is constantly directed and redirected to new stimuli. Our technology sources are a key contributor to this and cause our nervous system to overreact. It doesn’t get an opportunity to slow down and reset, so you have to consciously take action to do that.
Besides neuroscience, meditation is my JAM! I must be honest; I had no idea its purpose and how to do it until 2 years ago. And then one day, once I had really meditated for the first time, I was like…whoah! Lemme get some more of that!
How I describe meditation is this: it’s disconnecting from your active and conscious thoughts (doing, needing to do, planning…anything associated with taking action) and plugging into the space where your subconscious connects you with your soul’s purpose its connection with the collective energy of the universe.
Okay, that may sound a little like a foreign language, but once you know, you KNOW….
I teach meditation in my 1:1 client programs.
Meditation is a way to surrender to ‘all that is’ and release all else. Going deep into meditation allows your subconscious to receive ideas, thoughts, and past messages from other lives (this probably isn’t your soul’s first go-round in a human body) that you’re in sync with based on your current vibration.
It is also a super easy way to expand your energetic frequency field and become magnetic to ALL THAT YOU DESIRE!
Sure, it takes some practice, but my Spiritual Life Coach clients, even the never-meditators, start experiencing beautiful synchronicities as soon as four weeks!
It’s clear that tapping into our subconscious minds and learning to manifest through meditation can greatly impact our lives. By practicing relaxation techniques like box breathing, walking outdoors in nature, or engaging in some form of mindful activity, we can begin to reset our nervous systems and open ourselves up to new possibilities.
