I know what it's like to have it all and at the same time feel completely unfulfilled. Instead of settling, I took a risk and followed my heart to leave a toxic marriage and start over again in my career, but it was worth it. Today, I'm living the authentic life I always dreamed of and coaching other women to do the same.
Hi! I'm Danielle Lea
Are you looking for someone to be your life coach? Often, not finding the right fit can create a sense of insecurity and make it hard to move forward in your career with confidence. It’s an important decision – one that needs to be rooted in trust, integrity, and aligned values. As I hope we get the opportunity to work together – maybe I’m “the one” but there is also the possibility that I am not the best life coach for you.
So what would stop me from being the best life coach for you? Read on as we explore this idea further…
My life dramatically changed (for the better) when I stopped setting goals and surrendered to my dreams.
Now go back and read that again.
If you’re looking for someone to take you down a path of achievement and accomplishment and want someone to hold you accountable to what you declare, I’m not the life coach for you.
I’ve been coined The Bougie-Woo Queen because I take my clients through a deep metamorphosis of trusting their innermost longing and releasing attachment to everything they’ve been told they ‘should’ do.
We go deep.
I teach them how to unlock their feminine energy (manifestation and creation) and surrender to the truth that the universe is always working in their favor.
So, if you are a recovering over-achiever, tired of being the hardest worker in your company, and ready to live fully free to create the life you REALLY want, you’re in exactly the right place.
Most of my clients come to me during what I call a transition phase.
The most obvious…divorce.
There’s no better declaration of your transformation into something more beautiful and joyful than coming out of a relationship.
And as a woman who walked away from a toxic marriage, enduring a 4-year custody battle that ended in suicide, I’ve now built a beautiful marriage based on true love and trust and kindness, and compassion.
Your person is out there, I promise!
But THE one thing ALL my clients have in common is that they are ready to leave the life of hustle and grind, they do more, bleed more, give more, put themselves on the backburner (again) life they’ve created, and start putting their own needs FIRST.
Sure, maybe there’s selfishness that needs to be nurtured but remember, you were created in the most perfect and whole image, and somewhere along the line, you may have been neglecting what your soul needs.
Always, always, always have a conversation with the person you’re hiring as your life coach.
Because it’s YOU who’s going to be doing all the work.
The best life coach will ensure the work feels aligned with who you are at the soul level.
I even call the work my clients, and I do SOULWORK.
You want to make sure your certified life coach is living the life they are guiding you to live.
If you are seeking to create a life of wealth and abundance, it might be important to hear the coach speak to that from personal experience.
If you crave deeper, meaningful, and loving relationships, you might not want to work with someone who is newly divorced or has never been married.
Like attracts like.
You don’t have to desire the life your coach is living, but you need to be able to respect them.
Simply put, you want to have a vision for what you want your life to look like.
When searching for the best life coaching programs – you need to find a life coach you resonate with. Schedule a breakthrough call to see if you’re a good fit for one another.
If they are quirky and awkward on the call, and you notice that immediately, listen to your intuition telling you to keep looking for someone more your style.
Ask about their expectations of the client/coaching relationship too.
And finally, it’s time to get real. Real with yourself and be honest and open with them.
Share your successes and share your struggles. Talk about ways you like to be coached/communicated with. This is a two-way relationship.
Working together should always leave you desiring even more time together. That’s the sweet spot you want to be in when choosing the best life coach for you.

On a personal note, I am simply full of gratitude, joy, compassion, and love this morning as I get to write this post from my lanai in Maui.
I declared long ago that I would create something that allows me to travel for work and that I would still love and enjoy doing that work on what used to feel like a vacation.
Now, it just feels as though I get to live my life a little bit all over the world. And that, my friend, is how you create the life you REALLY want.
If you’re now at the stage where you want to find a life coach, I hope this article has been helpful.
